My first thread for relationship advice... :/

you've entered into a relationship were you will never rise above 4th most important person in your girlfiends life, first and second place go to the kids, third place to her as she has to look after herself so she can look after the kids, then youre at fourth. If you cant deal with a situation like this then best you move on dude. Your opinion on her situation will never go down well and is unlikely to make any difference to her, youre at the bottom of the pile. Thats just the way life changes when kids arrive.

Sounds like father of the youngest is worried his child will see a new man as more Dad than he is and is trying to shunt you out of the way, at least until the child is older, at that age they forget a parent if they dont see them for a while!

Is she older than you? If yea how much?

My ex was a bit older than me and had a 7 year old daughter...and I know exactly what you mean about being annoyed at not being able to spend some one on one time with her.

One thing I came to realise was, they will always love the kid(s) the most in life and put them first, ahead of any new boyfriend.

Anyway I would get out while you can!

Same age.

The problem is more with him having a hold and using the child as a weapon.

This won't end well OP. The relationship is completely out of your hands, you will have little to no control over how your lives develop and from what I've gathered, you'll always have that second guy hanging around. You don't need this, life is complicated enough with "normal" relationships, this one just seems needlessly so.

Having said that, never go with what anyone tells you (that includes family, friends etc). Always go with your gut.

RIDING THROUGH THE DUST CLOUDS AND BARRON WASTES, GALLOPING HARD ON THE PLAINS, CHASING THE REDSKINS BACK TO THEIR HOLES, FIGHTING THEM AT THEIR OWN GAME, MURDER FOR FREEDOM, A STAB IN THE BACK, WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND COWARDS ATTACK!!!!!!

As has been stated in this thread previously...

1:49...

It's way more fun to type it than link it... :p

Gah - easier said then done. :(

Actually it's pretty easy to do. Just be a bit of a **** and tell her you've had your fill and you're not interested anymore. You've only been together a bit over 6 months, so while you'll have an internal struggle over this, you should bounce back pretty quickly.

Of course what you're probably going to do is become father #3, be eternally linked to this woman and subseqently both regret it and be ruined for years. This being your first relationship and all, it certaintly sounds like you're intent on learning the hard way.

Two kids, two dads, makes you feel like the bad guy when you point out one of the dads is being a bit of a ****. Hills. Run for them.

Walk away. The situation won't get any better, only worse. If you feel like this after 6 months that should tell you something.

I got with a girl who was still into her ex but i just couldn't see it. The advice on here told me to run a mile, i thought i knew best with my rose tinted glasses on and kept going round. I eventually got really hurt.

Moral of the story, OcUk is always right :p

I think as a you asked for here you already know? If she was the right one you'd like not be asking this lot?

Though as above photos might change the vote :D

runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

never date a mother unless you're ok with being put last and enjoy hardly ever spending quality time with just her as there's always somebody elses brats restricting it.

These birds, called brood parasites, lay their eggs in another bird's nest and let the other bird parents feed and raise their chicks. The "egg abandon-er" is then free to mate again and lay more eggs in another nest. The cuckoo is the best known brood parasite and an expert in the art of cruel deception. Its strategy involves stealth, surprise and speed. The mother removes one egg laid by the host mother, lays her own and flies off with the host egg in her bill. The whole process takes barely ten seconds. Cuckoos parasite the nests of a large variety of bird species and carefully mimic the colour and pattern of their own eggs to match that of their hosts. Each female cuckoo specializes on one particular host species. How the cuckoo manages to lay eggs to imitate each host's eggs so accurately is one of nature's main mysteries.
