I can always remember my mate having an C-Reg Escort RS Turbo which he claimed (without proof) had 240BHP, he said it would beat my twin turbo Supra MK2, till a standard rover just like yours did him around 3 cars lengths off the mark to 80mph in front of everyone on boyracer's night at Maccy d's taffic lights in newark. LMAO

He said "I need new spark pluggs, my boost wasnt right" he was nearly had tears. That FWD rover looked stupidly quick off the mark from what I can remember though ( he must have had a bleed valve or sumthing on it). I didnt fancy a go with the lad in my Supra incase RS boy did have 240BHP and he just had that done to him.

Quick update before I start for the 'ring
Suspension was set up this morning and now feels awesome
Seats have arrived and fitted, much better than the RS Recaros.
This diff is going to take some getting used to!

What's it like at putting the power down with the diff? Is it progressive or does the turbo come in and the wheels struggle like crazy? 
Yes, it will blow a hole in a piston in a matter of seconds if it is bad.

I thought it was fine without the diff, but then I like wheelspin
that does look very nice m8 ive just bought a vw golf mk1 gti convertible for the summer to go along with the coupe, really nice car
there is a company in cornwall that does a 20vturbo conversion from the 1.8T which i think in a year or so might be going in the mk1gti
