you get better stability with lower fsb and higher multi, meaning you can generally go higher. and because the fsb is lower it affects the ram speed less.

Try getting it back closer to 100, thought the whole point of the unlocked multiplier was to increase it from 33X

Then alter the FSB : DRAM ratio to suit.

Just a tip for "infernox." When your doing screenshots. Rather than capturing the whole screen and wasting space or drawing attention to the "Anna" folder. You can hold down "alt" while you press the print screen button, this will then only capture the active window.

Orrrr.... since your on Windows 7... just use the snipping tool... so much quicker and easier. Search for it in the start menu.

My fsb wont go lower than 200, it says min=200, max=500

But i dont expect my board to be very good at overclocking. but hey ho.

lets see how well this does for now.

Out of the box the 965be CPU is 100X33= 3300mhz.

HD5870 = HD6950 in all honesty.

Certainly not worth the cash.

Only upgrade you could do for graphics would be GTX580 levels really (The 570 would be a step-up, but not at £250 imo).

Wait and see what BD is like.

Also, do you have the Avril wallpapers on rotation? If so how?

AFAIK you just go into the windows 7 wallpaper changey thing and select more than one picture as a wallpaper, and it will become a slideshow.

i havent done it myself though as i'm happy with my 'desktop on my desktop' wallpaper
