Just noticed this - the white was no extra, and so paid for the upgraded alloys. Black was the only other non-charge option but it didn't suit the car imo

I would have paid for a colour, but aside from the red I thought white was one of the best - and the red will be too common.

You'll find white will be far more common. ;) White is the new black.

They are from all accounts a superb car, I just can't get over the fact they harvest the wood for the interior from this tree.

i don't want wood in my car though. And whilst white cars will be more common, i fear the red tat BMW are promoting will be the common colour for this car.

Anyway, just popped out so grabbed some phone pics:

Looks v.nice. The interior is identical to the new 1 series, I prefer the aluminium trim though. Piano black is a bit bland in my opinion.

That red line would get on my ****, but nice to see no leather, I STILL fail to see it's appeal and it never ages as well.

Nope too costly an upgrade tbh, as with Xenons. Budgeted myself £1000 for upgrades, I'd have gone for 19s over nav tbh, I mostly know where I'm headed and plenty of options on my phone when I get lost.

The shut lines above the front lights and the weird front splitter ruin the front of the new 3 series for me :(

I'm sure it is an excellent car though, enjoy it! I love the red detailing in the interior.

Back looks much nicer, side view to my untrained eyes look very much like the E90, front looks OK but have to agree with a previous poster, the shut lines look strange.

Also, didn't realise that people still debadge cars these days :)

Thanks for putting up the photo's Pug, gives me a little glimps of what I'm waiting for. :)

I've spec'd the H&K speaker upgrade, Visibility pack, sports seats, sports steering wheel and aluminium trim. I've started with the SE spec, so no red lines for me :) Two weeks left to wait, although they did tell me that two weeks ago too.
