N73 users here...

I won an auction for a new N73 for £142, my question is what software do I need to change the product ID in order to debrand?

Well I have the vodafone n73 unlocked to all networks.
To be honest I'm not too fust with it been branded, there software isnt too bad see as I don't use it, you only notice it when you turn the phone on
 
Just wondering does anyone have the n73 on orange? I'm considering moving to them from o2 and perhaps getting the new black n73 but am a little concerned that orange may have altered the phones software like many of their other phones. Also worried about orange branding on the handset. Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Mate just got one on Orange, saw it today and its fine, upgrade the firmware and you can get rid of all the annoying orange menus.
 
Can that just be done on Nokia's upgrade service? Wouldn't fancy doing anything that could void my warranty.

What? Do you sleep with your eyes open? Mines in my bedroom and guess what, when you close your eyelids, you dont see it!

My N73 is right next to my head on my bedside table. The flashing blue light doesn't bother me at all. Simple solution... turn your phone off.
 
Sorted, thats better. It bothers me really wen i put the phone on the coffee table it does my head in flashing.

same here, i simply cannot stand the light flashing. I keep it on though to save power but it is an annoyence!!
 
My K750i joystick is really giving me greif and it's time to change or renew my contract very soon.

I've basically decided to get this phone. N95 seems to much money, read nemerous issues and the 5mp camera seems no better that the N73s.
K800i was considered but I want a proper upgrade and like the idea of smart phone that I can play with, with extra apps etc.

Apart from this devilish blue light and the possible slowness can you N73 users tell me anything else I should worry about before I make the plunge?

Also, is the music version anything special? I've heard you update the software to function like the music version
