I've tried, but it looks like you have to download some stuff?
If so where do you get it from?

The Sirocco is the metal slider phone isnt it? If so, Orange do sell it, as ive seen it in my local Orange shop yesterday.Yucca said:Hi all.
Thought this would be the best place to ask seen as your all nokia n95 people!![]()
I have been offered by orange: 1400 xnet mins, free unlimited calls to land lines and 1000 txts a month for £30. I have been with them a few years so i always get a great deal from them.
They told me i can have the Prada phone from them for free. Im 99% sure that they will let me have the nokia n95 for free to. I really want a sirocco 8800 but orange dont do that handset.
Do you recon its a good idea for me to get the nokia n95, sell it and get the sirocco i want. What do you think realistically i can get for a new nokia n95?
Can i get £300 for it you think? I recon i can pick up a silver sirocco for about £250, so unless i can get a bit more than that for the nokia its not worth the hastle.
. Each to their own though.
.
p) but the phone itself is in the dark ages... And i wouldn't even say it was "popular" now... It just shouldn't be *that* expensive!Yucca said:Hi all.

...luckily for me my bluff worked
...I use to own a 8800 and its not once ever let me down over 18 months. Not a single dropped call or s/w crash. I now have a N95, its nice that it has all the whizz bang toys but my phone crashed twice today during a call.BoomAM said:why anyone would want one is beyond me, as irrc, they're pretty dire.. The sarcasm would work better if there were only two phones on the market.smokedog said:...But why anyone would want a reliable phone is beyond me.
.I chose the 8800 cause of the build quality and they hold their value well. Once you used a 8800 its hard to go back to plastic phones.BoomAM said:The fact that the 8800 is overpriced & under featured makes it a daft choice to get imo, when there are other phones, like some of the SEs, that are just as reliable, cheaper, and do far more.
Your basically narrowing everything down to YOUR requirements.smokedog said:I chose the 8800 cause of the build quality and they hold their value well. Once you used a 8800 its hard to go back to plastic phones.
As for other phones having more features, what features do people really need?
The only feature I really use on my N95 is the a RSS reader via Wi-Fi. But this is something I can live without.

BoomAM said:Now that the N95s have been out in the wild for a bit, how are people finding them?
General usage? Battery life? ect;?

What sort of usage do you give it?mysticsniper said:I got mine on the day after its release. I am very happy with mine. The battery life is just as good as my N70. It has a really good camera for a phone. Some of the other features are quite nifty. The only disappointing thing is the sat nav, but just like the Video calling its more of a gimmick then some thing practical.
Best phone I have had so far![]()
i've had mine for a couple of weeks now and am still suprised by the battery life- everyone said it was terrible so i bought it knowing this. However, i have found the battery is more than comparable to my old n80. infact, considering what this badboy does i'm shocked at how long it lasts.BoomAM said:What sort of usage do you give it?
Im quite a heavy txter, and only occasionally make/recieve calls.
So im wondering what sort of battery life i'd get from it?
