NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

I expect its still... Good fun..? :(

I've not driven an eco boost but have driven many turbo charged low capacity motors and the power delivery is all but entertaining for a few minutes but it is no stranger to these forums that I dislike turbo charged and 4 cylinder engines except for the Vtec units. I love NA and a good linear power band!

Though everyone was expecting the 2.3l Mustang to be the better handling car most who have driven or owned both US side actually say the nose heavier 5.0l handles better which goes against the norm but is feedback from owners and some of the reviews that have owned/driven both.

However is it still a Mustang? YES! So it still looks the same, it still have the character and feel and the 50 plus years heritage, so I am sure its still an event and great fun. Everywhere I go people ask questions, one of which tends to be is it the V8 and when I respond yes they always acknowledge that I clearly made the right choice. :D

It gets attention and questions everywhere it goes, can only imagine the attention an orange or yellow would get or even grabber blue. :eek:

Surely saying you like a good linear power band, and you like VTEC is contradictory? :p

VTEC cars are nothing-nothing-something-something-herewego-BWAAAAAAAAAAAH :D

Not what id call linear haha! Fun if you like to drive hard though!

(Going solely from the EP3 I drove, and my VVTL-I which is similar with its power delivery)

When people ask if its the V8, just turn the key ;)

Do you get irritated by the attention or do you welcome it?

I bet it would be with a remap and a nice cold air intake. Might not sound how it looks though!

Still be same power delivery, just more of it and the 2.3l does not have a great track record as a few have let go even stock, the 2.3l is not bomb proof.

Whereas the 5.0l in the 2015 has no reported failures except for when pushing 900-1000BHP plus.

Red with custom pack = fail
2.3l = fail
auto = fail

The most un-wanted spec! :D

Red without custom pack so black wheels, no chrome does look pretty good but for me best colours are:

Magnetic
Black
Triple yellow
Deep impact blue
Competition organge
Ingot silver

Race red, ruby red, white and guard I am not much for. :)

Convertible with the above spec would be more fail.
