Need for Speed: Shift 2: Unleashed

Oh lordy! you know what, It doesn't matter. I was only initially trying to defend a fellow member & convey that it doesn't hurt to be polite when asking a question!

If you all wanna have a go at me for it that's fine, I can take it. Not a problem. :)

p.s. This thread for at least the last 10-15 pages that I have been participating in has been polite, friendly and very little moaning & bitching. Until now!

I wouldn't worry about it richard.

You should instead be concerned with my laptime around Brands Indy, in a works Caterham, that just dethroned your Radical SR3 :D :p

P.S

Is anyone else finding 4wd cars to be pretty awful with a wheel ? Even after upgrading / tweaking their setup to be stiffer, there's no feeling whatsoever.

Hehe, you tinker! I will have revenge! I have a WRX and EVO, seem ok to me but they have not been getting that much use!

yea keyboard pro :D

tried to beat my lap in the scion and came really close almost everytime but the hairpin at the top of the hill is tricky with a keyboard i suspect im losing the most time in that sector, if someone tries to beat my time with the works huayra please take a screenshot of your sector times for me.

Nicely done  Were all the aids off as well ?

I wouldn't even attempt that with a keyboard.

That laptime with the Caterham was my limit, without a doubt.

I'll need a lower fov to go any quicker, so it slows the scenery down a bit :p

shaved 2.5 tenths :D

bet you can easily beat it by a second with a wheel though

Were all the aids off as well ?
i have traction control , stability control & antilock brakes turned on
without them keyboard would probably be impossible

Check to make sure that antialiasing and 'enable surface format optimization' are disabled in CCC. Someone mentioned a few pages ago that the last option caused problems.

Ati performance seems a bit dodgy atm, just like Shift 1 on release, so you might need to drop shadows down to medium or low to get extra fps until a patch is released.

Turning off in-game aa will probably double your fps, if you have it on atm.
I disabled anti aliasing in ccc and also turned off in game anti aliasing...one of those fixed it. I still get occasional poor performance when a lot of cars are on screen, its basically the start grid that can be a mite sluggish.
