lol i nearly broke 1.28.....gonna take a while to get used to this. I've never concetrated so hard on a game before but isnt it excellent
Hi Ultim8,
Glad you're enjoying it, it is a truly excellent sim game once you get the controls sorted to your liking.
Just want to check a few things with if I may to help get to grips with this game.
1. What 'Driving Model' are you using 'Normal', 'Experienced' or 'Pro'? Start with normal to begin. It offers slightly more grip than experienced. Pro is for Wheel & Pedal users only & therefore offers the most realistic handling & minimal grip when compared to Normal & Experienced modes.
2. Turn OFF ALL aids. Braking, Traction Control & Stability Control. If you must use Traction Control until you're more accustomed, set it to 'Low'. Using these aids i.e. ON will seriously slow you down.

3. Braking - Brake in a straight line & remember to come off the brakes as you begin your turn-in. On most of the tracks the Guide line (or racing line) gives a false impression as where to brake. You can brake well into the Red zone, in some cases about 2 or 3 car lengths.
4. Cornering (Steering) - Try not to shear at the wheel, hold a steady steering position to maintain the line for the corner ONLY applying the GAS whilst straightening up, when you know you won't have to correct the car with more steering input.
5. Cornering (Apex) - I know it's a given, but try not stray to far from the apex of corners. Bear in mind some cars don't like riding too much curb.
6. Cornering (Feathering) - Now this is probably the hardest skill to learn even at a relatively low level, especially in powerful Rear Wheel Drive cars not so much in Front Wheel Drive. Basically you can control/balance the car around a curve by constantly feathering the throttle with minute inputs/outputs of the throttle whilst maintaining momentum & med to high revs (no need to drop a gear). For example, on this weeks combo the last right curve, to maintain good momentum & importantly good exit speed you need to balance the car in 2nd gear initially feathering the throttle so you can change up to third gear early at peak revs.
7. Gears - Use Manual gears. It offers so much more control than auto.
Anything else you want to ask just fire away. Only too glad to help
