How would I go about swapping OS and games etc over to an ssd?

You could clone the drive - they sometimes have a utility for it - but I would take the opportunity to do a fresh install.

And use your old drive to save games/photos/recordings (if you record games). Only put OS, apps, games you play the most or benefit from an SSD onto the SSD.

OK, back to BIOS - up voltage to 1.3v and double check we're 42 in the multiplier.
