Mine got despatched today. Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow but I'd be happy with Saturday.

If anyone else is getting theirs from Farnell, are they getting the free t-shirts on offer when you ordered?
Woot its arrived
Nice pic. Could you do another comparison pic with perhaps your credit card? :D

He ordered on the launch day.

So, what are your plans for it easyrider?

Xbmc for one

The other I'm rigging up a CCT camera at my Drive gates using a 70m long Cat 6 cable that I buried in the drive when building the house :p This will be connected to my TV so I can see who's coming :p

Thats just for now

Mine (well, my fathers... grrr) just shipped from Farnell, don't recall what sort of shipping I chose now though so I've no idea when it'll arrive.

I've had mine for about a week now, got debian on one SD card and openelec on the other. Openelec plays 1080p fine with subtitles as well. It does take an age to scrape your media info though and it's amazing fast going through the menus, but it's nice and cheap and I can blutac it to the back of my TV.

what are the alternatives to the RaspPi? Must be a load out there now but not as well publicised.

Just don't fancy a 3 month wait.

Nothing even close in terms of price at the moment. I think the nearest most comparable product is a Beagleboard but they go for well over £100.

Just broke my SD card. That'll teach me for ordering cheap rubbish ones. 32GB for £10 was never going to go well. Oh well ordered 4 Class 10 8GB Samsungs from the approved SD card list. Hopefully they will arive the same time as my second board :p
