Netflix is now in the UK

Fake one, credit card and pay for a VPN service and thats where double the cost comes in. VPN servers aren't particular cheap and IMO its not worth it. I canceled before uk came out and have uk one and don't plan to cancel ATM, untill I run out of stuff to watch, which will depend on how often new stuff is added.

It's not really double the price, $5 will probably be around £3.30 when paying via PayPal.

.
Except it's $7.99 a month which is near enough £5 just over so that's near enough the same. The DNS will like other people fail and you will need to purchase a VPN which is about £5 a month. So it really is about double.

Unblock.us is $4.99 a month and is near enough the same as VPN as all traffic is routed through a Hosting/Server provider. So in total for Netflix + Unblock.us it's about £8 a month for both.

It's a little over £9/month or a bit less if you take the annual subscription.

Seems odd to me that (unless I am doing something very wrong) the web site tells you that they have thousands of TV programmes and films but when you browse the collection they only have 18 or 21 in each category.

Surely to advertise the potential of the site they should allow potential custumers to view the whole range.

If anyone has signed up does the website expand dramatically? Or are there only a handful of titles in each section?

This is exactly the same issue I had with LoveFilm on the PS3. It listed only the first 100 of any genre's movies so only ever ended up going to say E or F in the alphabetical list. I would have to search to find a film but I like just going through the list.

If this is the same for netflix then I won't bother.

you cant view the whole range as far as I know. It still only list 20-30 films for each genre, after that you are using the search function but as you have no idea whats available and what isnt you are searching blind. its rubbish for that mind.

well last night was a double header. the mechanic and mclintock!.

also blitzed through warehouse 13 waiting for the 3rd series to show up now.

does anyone know when they update ? is it monthly or just when they get new content and if the latter how often does that happen.

I know some people are happy watching older films but I found the selection poor. The selection of films on something such as the Zune marketplace is more what I'm after, but I'd prefer it with a subscription rather than a rental model.
