You don't need to register to Netflix us.

Register for uk and your registered for the US version. It depends on your ip address to which site comes up.

Ping yes, speed not really.
VPN don't need to be connected 24/7, well not in a VPN. Its a simple connect/unconnect button on both pc and mobile devices.

DNS will make even less of a difference, but cant easily change back and forth.

That's why quite a few people are using the US VPN/Proxies to get to the US Library - It's much much larger.

Just started the weeks trial with unblock.us and it works a treat. Even more series of 24 to watch now. I wonder I this will be plugged soon.

I just changed the DNS on my PS3 to the numbers from a few pages back. Soooo much more content on the US one, and all seasons of Breaking Bad, Family Guy (mostly) etc etc.

I still cannot find any really decent films to watch though but nearly all the films are HD too which is awesome quality. ***** all over Lovefilm from a great height !!!

I highly doubt it. No other service with similar issues (I.e. buying stuff from iTunes US) has blocked access. And even if they did, people could just use a different proxy/vpn.

Got the months free trial on this at the moment, watched a fair few movies already.

Just how much larger is the US library in comparison to the UK one?

Im judging whether it would be worth paying for the unblocker.

I haven't paid to use an unblocker, I'm just using different DNS settings.
