Thanks for the info. Now need to remember how i ran a telnet from Mac terminal...pretty sure i did it with the Huawei modem but was a bit more convoluted than windows.
That I can't help you with unfortunately.

Or you could just follow this link, login to enable debug mode.

Here's some basic router stats after an a couple hours up. Will telnet tomorrow some time. Not entirely sure what i'm looking for!

It's a gigabit switch connected straight to the router. Need it to wire up all my devices under the TV. Just wondering about latency on the PS4.
Already having a good experience with the D7000, wireless is lightning fast. I was surprised how large the box is, it's massive! Speeds seem to be creeping up and latency is going down. Was around 30ms last night and now down to 22ms.
I feel like I'm only scraping the surface of what this can do.
No nothing like that at all. Only thing I get is DSLTstats hanging due to a divide by zero error or similar. I resolved it by deleting all of the files in data except the ini files. Usually does this about every three weeks.
Unless I'm mistaken, my stats look pretty poor. But maybe that will change over the coming weeks.

Yes, ECI cab and around 400m if i follow the track of the masts and road.
Never had any problem with my line really with regards to drop outs, not that i know of anyway. I am concerned with why next door has 10 odd meg more than me download speed though.
Here's another. Should i expect this to resync some time this week?

I thought anything below 6dB SNR is poor![]()
Downstream SNR is down to 4.3 now...hmmmm
What chipset does the d7800 use?
Had to give the VDSL back to the HG612. D7000 on EWAN now.
Since Wednesday my attenuation had gone up. Had a chance today to put the hg612 back online and immediately the attenuation is back to where it was and looking at the tones something is definately amiss.
Michty if you get a chance look at the tones comaparing today at 4pm with Wednesday at 4pm you'll see what I mean.
I will probably have to send this one back, but I need to configure up something else to take its place first.
No, not tried a reflash and for the moment I need to leave things working the way they are.
I'm in the process of putting together a pFsense device, which, if all goes to plan would mean seperating the Modem from the router anyway. As it is the OR modem has barely generated any FECS or ES at all and my sync has increased to over 71 again after dropping to 69.
I will try a reflash, probably when SWMBO is away in a couple of weeks. If that makes no difference then I'll talk to Netgear. It's useful if nothing else to have it in reserve if the OR modem fails.
Anyone find this helps their connection speed with Sky? Been reading as a potential upgrade and some people are saying they go from 60mb to 70mb (Fibre Pro) just by using this?
Anyone had similar experience?
Pictures at last!! Back to a sensible case too...

I think i'll just leave it alone and wait till it loses sync...it's perfectly fine and does anything i throw at it!
EDIT - Is this WAN uptime anything to be worried about because i really don't want to think it is even though i'm leaning to yes...?
I've just been telnetting to see the SNR so though the Link uptime would change if there was drop outs. In my ignorance have I completely been ignoring it dropping out all the time with the WAN.

Wan up time is only 16 hours. Once a day won't trigger the DLM though. Do a power down and back up, then look at the SNR, if the SNR goes up I reckon you've the same problem as ardsar.
I unplugged for half hour yesterday and the SNR went straight back to 6.
Think I'm going to get this sent back.
