I wouldn't have expected it to be much higher clock for clock.

Maybe 10% boost max dependant on aa and resolution.

But if they overclock better due to better stock cooling and three phase power(is that 415V? :p) and only cost not much more than a GT then I good buy.

Doubt it will be worth anybody upgrading from a good overclocking GT however as 2nd hand price of a GT might only be £120-£130 by then.
 
would 1680X1050 be counted as a high res?
Waiting on the new GTS benchies (in-game), because depending on how it performs Ill either get this or a GT (depending on wether the GTX can run on a 550W PSU with 4core and 4gb ram)

as soon as this is ready to buy and ive seen a im game benchie then i can FINALY order my rig, dave knows just how long ive waited :)

Forgive me for being a newbie numpty...

But where can you buy either of the new cards? I've just bought new PC kit and seems like ive bought just when two new cards are about to be released... i wanna play games for xmas... when / where can i get my hands on these cards?
