New Alienware Q3 2020

Mine was Syncreon then DHL when it was out for local delivery. I got a no access message cause they didnt have my full address but the courier phone me and came back with and I had to nip out to the street to pick it up.
Did you manage to get a DHL tracking number? somehow I can't find mine at all - I checked everywhere on the website

On DHL tracking website I think I got mine to work by copy and pasting my customer number from the Dell invoice into customer number input on the DHL page. If that doesn't work do same with invoice number and order number - one of them works!

Edited to add as I've just checked:

Put your Dell Order No: from your invoice into the Customer Reference box on the DHL tracking page plus your postcode and that should work

So ive u boxed and set up, did an initial pixel scan and saw nothing, after about 5 minutes though I booted up a game and get a bright blue stuck boy :(. Only 1 spot of very minimal back light bleed and ips glow seems OK though. Still a bright blue pixel means it's time to take advantage of that advanced exchange warranty.
Argh how frustrating! Hopefully it's easily replaced.

What test software did you use? just about to unbox my AW2721D

If you Google dead pixel checker there are quite a few websites that display full screen of black, white, red, green and blue. I use the black to look for IPS glow and backlight bleed, the white will show any completely dead pixels and the red, green and blue show any dead subpixels.

I'm not in the mood to deal with dell support tonight so I'll get onto chat tomorrow and try get a replacement sent out. I have the worst luck with monitors I swear, 5 out of my last 6 have had some sort of stuck or dead pixel :(

So looking like Friday now for me...it only left the Lutterworth hub at 4am unless it arrives at my local depot later this morning to then head out it'll be tomorrow now I reckon.

so far I've just turned the brightness down to 19. its way to bright on arrival.

Fairly typical. They usually set these things up for display in a brightly lit shop. My lounge is anything but brightly lit, so I usually have to turn a monitor down a lot.

For anyone following my ongoing saga...

Delivery due weds, never left the depot, called DHL, rearranged for today. Today, never left the depot, called DHL, they've sent a message to the depot asking what's going on, waiting for a call back.

Fully expect to rearrange for tomorrow and have the exact same conversation again.

same here - they said they tried to deliver it yesterday but no one even showed up. they didn't even call

Yep, that's what I've had before with them with a different delivery, three days in a row - so even if I can complain enough to get it into a van I still won't be confident it's actually going to arrive

Got ETA for tomorrow from Schenker. Great. That's 7 days earlier than Dell estimation. Interestingly the tracking starts already in Poland on 02-12, so looks like it was already here and didn't go through Netherlands. Or did but with a separate shipment.

DHL is just as great here as everywhere I see... That's basically the only carrier I ever had problems with, except for national one, they don't even attempt to deliver the package and then say that nobody was home and want you to go to terminal to pick it up, and here they have terminal 40 KM away from the city. I remember I had such problem with my first ultrawide, I specifically paid for Saturday delivery and almost waited at the door, and there was 5 other people at home at that time, I check the tracking, and see failed delivery attempt 5 minutes ago because nobody was home. I call them and some robot-like lady was replying "next delivery is scheduled for Tuesday" over and over for everything that I said. And then I wrote a complaint and they rejected it without investigating because officially the retailer paid for the shipment and not me, so complaint from me is unfounded to begin with. Just thoroughly terrible in every possible way.

I just went to check where the depot is if I wanted to collect it, its literally around the corner. 1.2 miles by road.

I also Googled how fast a snail travels, which is apparently 0.047km/h. It would take a snail 40 hours to get to the depot. They've had it since yesterday morning. This delivery is not going to be at a snail's pace, because it is slower than that.

I'm apoplectic.

This is how long my Asus 35" monitor took to come to guernsey and be delivered to me

Yeah gods it's HUGE! I didn't think it would be so different from a 34" but it really is a lot bigger. So far so good. My only criticism at this stage is it's really difficult to get the DP plug in, I would recommend you fit it before you lift the monitor off the deck. I had some 3840x1600 pics for my wallpaper ready! Absolutely no bleed. Usual IPS glow of course but that's not an issue. This radius curve looks completely natural. At the moment I am stepping up through the refresh rates and everything is working fine. It's awesome. It is more immersive too. Worth every penny!
