Why do people keep saying these are r280's are 7970's! they are more like decent 7950's
The MSI 7950 Twin Frozr runs at ore: 960MHz, Memory: 3072MB 5000MHz
Thats up there with all the Rs280's....
They have obviously just used a reference board of the 7970 at best for these new cards.
I just hope the R290 is better than the 7990

The only downside is 256bit bus and 2gb of vram. However expecting 384 bit and 3gb at that low price (£150) is asking too much. To get an equivalent 384bit 3gb card from Nvidia you're looking at £500.
But now you've lost the 7950 option.
