If this was a 17 or 19" screen i'd probably be worried about it but not with the 22", which is why I'm buying it with VGA only

Yes because the conversion is done badly in the cheaper models, with a good DAC why should it be worse? Im pretty sure man wouldnt be in space if analog to digital conversions were not up to scratch :confused:

Yep it is better but nothing you would probably notice. Personally I'd rather have 1000:1 than 3ms faster in this case.

if it was accurate then maybe it would be better, but remember, you really can't rely on paper specs entirely. I would be surprised if you could see any real difference in practice between the 5ms and 2ms rated 22" models. A big dose of marketing here

but again you can't trust quoted specs in this way in many cases. TN Film panels have improved in terms of contrast ratios, offering better brightness and better black depth. 1000:1 is mostly unrealistic for TN Film though, and i'd doubt you would get a usable contrast ratio anywhere near that tbh

Shame we've still no date for this I really am tempted to cancel the order and reorder the components separate from the monitor so I don't have to wait. Have a feeling it's been delayed by a few weeks at least.

Yes many sites will advertise them but they won't be getting any. We have exclusivity rights on this panel and an agreement with Maxdata.

None of our competitors will get stock of this panel throughout November and quite possibly December too.

Hi all been looking at this screen for a while now.Iv got a 6800gt.Do u think that this card could run this monitor ok? also i use my comp for games mostly?

rest of spec is--3500 amd--1 gig ram

But surely it is not ideal to convert from digital into analog and then from analog back into digital. Doesn't every conversion run the risk of introducing errors/artifacts? I'd prefer to keep it digital all the way.
