New Belinea 22" is coming!!!

ive heard on the grapevine that Belinea is recalling some of the screens due to a faulty driver disc.
dont shoot the messenger ^^

Can I think of a worse reason for not having it sitting right in front of me? Do I not have the interweb in my grasp?

just what i was told by a competitor. they told me theyre delayed due to faulty driver discs... i cant think of a worse reasone either.

Hmm... I thought Gibbo had said they were 'exclusive' to overclockers - makes me wonder why the competitor knows about this driver disc - unless he'd like us to buy some other monitor from him

Hi guys, Sorry i have not been able to sort this with the iiyama panels. We have sold out of them soo quickly its amazing.. Cant fault it at that price. Didnt find the monitor too bad with the small time i had with it. The viewing angles are pretty poor but that size monitor is best directly infront at eye level. response seemed good and there was no visual ghosting. All in a bargain.. On and no dead pixels on the 7 we tested...

I wouldn't mind but I'm stuck with an ancient 17" CRT which is so deep that my face is actually aboug 30cm from the screen WHEN I LEAN BACK. I'd move the keyboard but I'm too lazy..

On the plus side the heat it gives off is helping my gas bills..

I ended up canceling and ordering the ASUS MW221U from a well known site for around £40 extra it has much better specs as well + has DVI and is 22"

I dont see it having "much better" specs? It's still 22" (Same as berlinea) and I see it has 2ms instead of 5ms.

Plus it only has 700:1 contrast ratio compared to the Belinea's 1000:1

the ASUS is HDCP too. thats enough surly !
IMO looks a lot nicer too.
im still goign to wait and see what these belineas turn out to be though.

On my Viewsonic DVI and VGA look exactly the same :confused:

ive read through badass' guide and apparently some really do look the same, and others theres a big difference. depends ont he display tbh
i wish some reviews would come out SOON
the asus has Vesa mount too
