Warning on the RAM:

CAUTION: Users may experience extreme motion sickness and/or complete disorientation from the extreme speeds typically reached with HyperX® Predator. It is not intended for small children, the faint-at-heart, people with a lot of time to complete a creative project or anyone who settles for less. Featuring frequencies up to 2666MHz and a new heat spreader for greater heat dissipation, it’s Intel XMP ready, compatible with all popular brands of motherboards and backed by legendary Kingston® reliability. We might even recommend a helmet.

Well is there any way I could get like a really small SSD for Windows/Main files then one 500GB for games ? Dont wanna split my games over 2SSDs haha

I still don't understand why you wouldn't want to just go with a single large SSD instead of one large, one small. (With conventional storage for large media files)
It'd be cheaper cause you're not buying the second one with nearly as much capacity as the first was so much bigger than the second anyway.
The computer will be faster as larger versions of an SSD outperform smaller ones (OK, the EVO is cracking at small capacities anyway).
You should get better life as wear-levelling will be improved with a unified space.
And finally... your games would be on a single disk, which you appear very worried about. If you have the OS on a different disk to the games you'll actually end up splitting your games files as many save stuff to your user folder which resides with Windows. Yes, you can move your user folders too, but then you've split windows across disks and also some games will be naughty and will incorrectly identify which drive to use, either returning you to games on split disks or causing stuff to break.

Personally I don't care if things are across different drives and am happy to set up Junctions to redirect any programs that have poor location selection but given your stated aims your idea seems counter-productive.

Warning on the RAM:

:D

Think I'll go for this one, purely cause I love the RAM warning (and colours :D)

**** liking the ram you have two 780's, wish I had 3k to spend :p I would personally wait till amd release there gpu's they are always one step ahead.

Apologies for reviving my old (dead) thread! But seeing as my birthday is just a few days away I've changed my mind on the computer!

Colours Black and Red

and must haves r290x and 4770k

Must run all games on ulta/maxxed out

No worries, i like when people use their old threads.. i stops people re-asking you questions..

I like the scheme and the parts you want.. though the 290x stock cooler is noisy and hot so i have 2 suggestion for you (pick one):

1) wait until OEM cards are released with updated (better) cooling
2) Custom watercool the build

Which of these options appeal to you most? :D

Custom Water cool sounds nice, however, I've never done it before! But if its easy and I can get a step by step guide ill do it:D Unless you know how long it'll be for OEM cards and I could just build the system using current cards then add new ones in later?
