Can someone please tell me after two failed generations, has corsair finally fixed the pump rattle.

Had it on my H50, H100 and H60

Funny that since I've got a TX650 and it's sat 1/2 metre from me and it's silent

Face it Doyll. You cannot look at Corsair products from an objective stand point, it's always "Corsair are ****" with every one of your posts in a thread with the company as the subject.

Perhaps you should refrain from posting in them in the future.

Happy Christmas!

I am glad your TX650 is quiet.
I'm not the only one complaining about TX power supply fan noise. Corsair PSU fan noise is well documented on internet.. Even on Corair's own forum:

Which version of TX6050 do you have? How old is it? The new ones are quiet.

Happy Christmas to everyone!

My H80i doesn't have any noise and I decided to use the stock fans instead on the SP120's and It's very quiet. With these new coolers from Corsair it seems to be a crap-shoot if you get a good one or not. I'm on my second H80i. My first one couldn't even mount fans to rad?

It would seem Corsair has gone down hill with the hydro series:(

At least mine is working flawless, for now.....????

Agreed. I think doyll is a troll working for one of Corsair's competitors lol ! He only ever bangs on about problem posts and fails to realise the vast majority of Corsair customers, me included, don't post because they have a working product. You can pick any company in the PC market and make them look poor by posting their failures but to be objective you need a balanced viewpoint. Something which doyll clearly hasn't got.

We all know the H-series of coolers from Corsiar have had some problems. However, Corsair themselves have stated that it only relates to a small number of products, check their forums it's all there. I believe them. Doyll however belives it's all a conspriacy. Who would you believe ? :p

Wasn't me m8. So guess I'm not the only one with a Corsair chip on my shoulder. :D

Corsair has done many good products over the years. But their H100 was not one... and H100i/H80i coolers definitely are off to a bad start too.

Got a H100i for Chrimbo.

Installed it yesterday and the fan noise was mental, so attempted the FW update. Couldn't connect upload the FW to the unit so tried to roll back to the 2.1.1 software & that can't see the Unit at all.

Connected the fans directly to my motherboard to reduce the speed but that defeats the object of them connecting to the cooler.

Had my ass bit by Corsair products once too often now. Corsair Carbide 500R case arrived with broken parts (got a new case as a replacement eventually), Corsair H100 had the pump rattle and now the H100i is a bit fubar'd with various issues too (including a dent in the radiator upon inspecting it).

Think I'll go back to my trusty H50-1 which has served me well & doesn't have any issues. Between that & the Vengeance Ram, Corsair have made some decent products, just current stuff is not good quality.
