New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

Have not changed the setting at all, not even sure what I have it on.

People seem to be whinging about stuff that really is almost irrelevant. :p
I don’t have a problem with it for 319 quid. Nice motion. And games at 60Hz like Starcraft won’t have a prob with motion at any setting and I don’t play fps at 60 hz my eyes will bleed.

I never have had a variable overdrive monitor but I do appreciate mapping the rates per frame rate is a smart idea.

:D

Whoa, oops. I think I must have been distracted, post removed now :o

once you experience it you will not want to go back...
All ips and TN smear to some degree. Higher refresh and keeping the frames as high as possible is the major key (3080 RTX at 5000 ryzen). OLED is the next step no overdrive needed but that’s still some time off. 4K high refresh next I guess before OLED 4K.... and maybe an RTX 5000... :)

So, by seemingly sheer luck I managed to find this very monitor in the UK for just over 300 quid plus postage earlier today.

I'll find out on Monday if/when it gets dispatched. Fingers crossed...

Sorry to dampen the party - I received one from this company on Saturday. Screen was perfect unfortunately there was a cluster of scratches on the screen. Going back for a refund.

^^^^^^ doesn't seem good, the scratches part as they should have been noted before sending it out to you. I take it that you aren't going to risk another, as you are returning for a refund...?

What warranty do those refurbs come with and is it a RTB type...?

Oh no... the info on 'Dell Certified Refurbished' items on their website led me to believe the items are good as new.

Scummy if not... fingers crossed though.

I would have a risked another but they are out of stock now. I believe the warranty is return to base.

Monitor was packed well. Not original packaging but a standard brown Dell box. Stand was already connected to screen etc. I would say item was a customer return to Dell.

Scratches are only really noticeable at a certain angle with a bright light shining. Trying to convince my self to keep it.

Fingers crossed indeed. Judging by the othe posts, it's going to be very difficult getting hold of this monitor this side of Christmas.
