Any whos order has been shipped... Has the money been taken from your account yet?

3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5

Decided not to spend a kidney on extra apple ram but wait to see if anything comes up in the sales - failing that I can swap around the 16gb in my Mac mini

That is the EXACT spec I ordered, except I ordered on the Monday (3rd Dec). As you can see above I have 32G waiting :p

Meaning I have 8G spare for sale when it arrives.

My 2010 after being damaged several times by AMSYS during them repairing on behalf of applecare is being replaced by a new 2012 model.

They offered me

But I offered to pay for the upgrade to the 680mx and 3TB Fusion drive. So excited!!

Was just wondering has anyone got an iMac with the fusion drive yet and if so, does the fusion drive consume much system resources?

That sounds like a reasonable replacement - happy with it?

Well don't get till Jan. But im glad AMSYS broke it tbh. For £320 to get an upgrade to top of the range 2012 model + an Apple Superdrive and Thunderbolt -> firewire adapter, isn't a bad deal lol.

But does anyone have a Mac with a fusion drive, just wondering how system resource hungry it is.
