New essential Android apps thread

Ok, I'm stupid, lol. I've spent hours on this and have no idea how to setup nzb 360. I'm not familiar with sabnzbd or any of the other things to choose from. Don't know where an api key is to be found for sabznzb; there's no username and password boxes in sabnzbd that I can see to put in my Tweaknews usenet provider; and in sabnzbd, am I meant to put my Tweaknews address in the IP Host address box, and my tweaknews ssl port in the server port box?

I tried another app, nzb leech. That was easy to setup. All I had to do was put my Tweaknews account details in, test the connection which worked fine and tested downloading an nzb which worked fine. Deleted it though because it was limited to 3 connections, limited functions, was slow and you have to donate to unlock almost every feature.

Via the phone, using my wifi. If you might be able to give me some pointers how to set up 360 I'd be grateful. :)

Ah right, nzb360 is just to control a remote server - that's probably why you can't get it working!

To be honest I don't think there are any decent usenet downloaders for Android as there isn't really a massive demand for it nobody has bothered.

You're probably right. Thing is, nzb leech, though it seems to be an old app not updated since 2011, does exactly what I need and easy to setup, except that it allows only 16 connections (I'm set to 40 with altbinz on my laptop and desktop) and only 3 connections with the free version. Just need another app like that but better.

I use Power NZB & it worked pretty well when I used it. Not updated for a while but does work well including auto PAR/Unrar etc. Worth a look, not sure if theres better ones out there to be honest but I can vouch for Power NZB.

You just reminded me, I checked out screenshots of powernzb last night as well and forgot to download it. It looks like it will do what I need. Thanks, will give it a whirl later!

After a gallery app which allows you to customise the order of the pictures, i.e. have sort of edit mode where you can drag them around into the order you want (like the photo app on an iPad) rather than just being able to do it by name, date, etc.

Anyone know of one?
