New essential Android apps thread

ART still isn't considered 'ready', it's still in a beta state and it's still recommended to use dalvik as you really aren't getting that much of a boost in anything.

there's just no point using ART at the moment. i've been tempted myself just being it's something new, but haven't bothered as everything i've read said you'll not see any benefit.

For those of you who have the Amazon appstore installed, today's freebie (Atomus HD) is well worth checking out. Nice and relaxing and pretty impressive graphics and surprisingly addictive.

Hi guys! Two things firstly is there a way on play store to search for a wallpaper? Whenever I try it seems only to give me live wallpapers which I don't want.
Secondly I have the Nova Launcher as you lot all seem to rave about it, is there some instructions that tells me how to use it to its full? I cant seem to see what all the fuss is about. :)

For wallpaper use an app like these:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.and.infinitewallsX

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arduinofan.tool

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appspot.swisscodemonkeys.wallpaper

These Nova guides may help:

Hey guys back on Android after a year of Windows phone and I am looking for a browser that has quick access to bookmarks without having to use the top menu button on most browsers. Ideally I'd like something that can be accessed from the bottom or by swiping in from the side. Only one I've found that does this is the stock HTC one browser but it is a bit hit and miss with the swiping. Any alternatives out there?

Never thought I'd be missing Internet Explorer!
