You'd be surprised, I've had a good few that are well aware of it and the limits of it. Just a shame a lot are also clueless!

I suspect age is a factor here. More younger people know about it than the oldies.

the amount of oldies that also wait for you to either take out a card or cash so they can select how payment is being made without asking is also annoying. sometimes seems like 10 minutes waiting for the next step with my phone in hand ready to tap and pay.

anyone know of a way to temp disable to copy/paste pop up in oreo? it's impossible for me to select some text in say a text editor like this one, and then click the buttons to bold/underline etc that text as the pop up covers the options.

Does anyone know of an app that allows me to have my SD card or say any folder on my phone backed unto my Synology NAS? Preferably once its connected to power?

I know synology have some apps. I set my bosses phone up to sync his photos to our work backup.

Guys a couple questions regarding the microsoft launcher app (arrow)
1. how delete/uninstall apps within this launcher (stupid but I cant figure it out)
2. how do i arrange apps into folders in the app drawer.

Have you updated it to the next version(has a new name)? If not do so, you may have to join the beta. To uninstall you just hold your finger on the app until you get a list of options up. One is uninstall.

By app draw do you mean the bottom home screen menu ? (still getting used to android terms). If so you just drag one icon over another and it will form a folder.

Oh right, what is the name? Also I tried dragging apps over one another and it didnt work. I do mean the icon that goes into all apps yep.

Just looked. It's called Microsoft launcher. Get that installed then what I mentioned should work.

Aww you mentioned arrow in your post which was its old name, as it's now just called launcher that's what confused me. I just doubled check and what I said should work but I am in the beta. So maybe they have changed a few things.

hehe sorry to confuse you. Ill keep having a mess with it see if I can force it to work. Yeah the app I installed definitely said preview in brackets.

One thing I have just noticed is if you are trying to uninstall an app from the app list you need to drag the icon to the top left if that helps at all.

Ok there is definitely something not right because no apps will move when I hold down and drag.

I have done that already. Ill try it again though. I am doing this on S7 Edge if this helps.

Very odd. I am not sure then. I have a U11 but I cant see that having any effect unless anyone else on a Galaxy has had issues.
