The emoji icon appears on the bottom right for me in some apps. In other apps such as the Google Search app, holding the search button or next line button (whatever is on the bottom right) will bring the option for emoji.
 
have used all the main keyboards and I always keep coming back to stock google KB.

Swift and swype seem to have lag no matter what device I try them on.....

I gave up on Swype because of the lag. Just ditched Swiftkey for stock Google keyboard this week.
 
Thanks to the horrid Samsung Keyboard I was/am a huge Swiftkey (Material Dark Theme!) fan. But since having my OnePlus One I'm actually loving the stock Android keyboard. Am torn between the two at the mo...
 
As of yet the google keyboard is much faster than swiftkey just the corrections are more inaccurate, ill keep adding stuff to the personal dictionary and hope it learns better.

I would rather not post an email address (even a gmail one) on here directly.

Thanks... I found it in the end, but although I did send a message in Trust, it doesn't look as if it was received, so I have now tried again from my Gmail account!

As the old saying goes..."if at first you don't succeed... etc.!

P.S. We got there in the end! :)

Not sure how many I left but I have at least Inbox invite left, if anyone would like an invite just give me a shout.
