New essential Android apps thread

Of course it was a joke, though there was one time we both (playfully) argued a point and neither of us backed down about what we had agreed over the phone. We both record calls for work so both checked and turns out I owed her an apology :p

Anyone knows of an app to lock the touch screen, and maybe turn the display off (battery saving), that would let things like YouTube (on Chrome, not their ***Ty app) run in the background? Sort of a Podcast mode.

Without realising it I've amassed about £20 in Play credit again, doing the surveys... Any app recommendations? Anything I might have missed :)

personally i use them on movies and such rather than apps. very little apps do i find worth buying these days now that android has become stale and everything is what it is.
True. I try and find TV shows or some sort of video content. Spent just over an hour over the weekend just perusing the absolute mess that is the Play Store - didn't find anything to spend my fathers £25 of credit on, which was amassed through surveys. I was hoping to find a category for apps that have the Home/Family Library feature - instead I had to manually find them. As bad as I find the IOS store, it isn't a patch on the Play store.

Sorry I know it's been spoken about a lot before, but what surveys? :)

Surely it's nice to get some cheap movie rentals etc?

i had iMuscle on my iPhone which I loved but the current version hasn't been updated since 2016 for Android, any other close apps for fitness guides?
