This is going to take some getting used too.
Very hard for my eyes to distinguish between thread titles. I do have shoddy eyesight but it looks a lot like a wall of white. Needs a bit of yellow or larger gaps to break up the threads.
If possible to that drop shadow on the names is hideous.

I think a lot of that is down to what I mentioned earlier, in that every thread title is bold instead of just bold for updated threads etc. Would be good to get that sorted, so that older threads with old content are just regular font weight. That should sort that imo.

Calm down dear, it's only a c̶o̶m̶m̶e̶r̶c̶i̶a̶l̶ forum

How do you change the username colour, or the report / trust / quote / reply box text?

I feel like I've tried everything

.messageUserBlock a.username {
color: #??? !important;
}

Wow yeah this is definitely going to take a while to get used too... I've only seen it on my iPhone (now) yet...

Just seen "Draft Saved" while doing a quick reply - I'm massively thankful for this :D There's been times I've entered a reply and have it disappear because I've accidently jumped off the page etc.

From what I can tell - it seems just as fast as before - just have to get used to the look.

How could you implement the new software without a black theme though - Surely that was one of the most requested features.

Good work nonetheless! :)

You're not a precious little *********. We've said all along you can criticise, just make it constructive, rather than moaning for moaning sake.

The thing is if you want constructive criticism you need to have a dedicated thread with specific rules in place for identifying people's concerns. This particular topic has no bounds defined in the OP, people are inevitably going to moan so it's best to just ignore it. There's no way you can weed out constructive criticism from an almost 1000 post thread like this.

The fact that people feel so strongly shouldn't be taken as offence, it should be a measure of how much they want these forums to be the best forums on the internet. And any such moans should simply be added to the tally of design issues which need to be dealt with.

Half of the "moan" posts could have been avoided by simply having a poll, Like, Dislike, Undo.
Many of these people would have just voted instead of leaving a moan post.

For example has the issue with the black dot missing from this icon
thread_new.gif
been recognised as an issue?

One thing I don't like is the posts are in a box inside a box... That doesn't make much sense and shortens the width of the posts even more than they should.

Yes. I'm collating a list of known issues raised here, in the moderator forum. That is one of many.

Awful on my tablet, a vote for gords layout. Will see what it looks like on my desktop but on the iPad it looks like it's been assembled with Homer Simpson's make up gun.

Encoding issues in old threads - Should have been resolved in the import process
BB code issues in old threads - Should have been resolved in the import process
Design and functionality issues - Wouldn't be an issue at all if done by someone who is used to styling XenForo forums.

Honestly, I'm all for moving forums to XenForo, but when you do such a poor job its no wonder people dislike change. There are more than a few experts on XenForo who could have made this a seamless transition, so why ocuk didn't get them involved is beyond me.

This - can we have the amount of boxes cleaned up? Apart from that I don't mind it at all.

Can we have the functionality to close up a group of sub forums back again? In the previous forum there was a little arrow on the right of the 'Life', 'Apple' etc titles which allowed us to expand and contract those we wren't interested in. It also saved their state between visits.
