To be fair there is a reason retail stores spend massive amounts of time, effort and money on their in store displays and layout.

Perhaps but I go into shops for stuff I want not how pretty or ugly their store or website might or might not be. As long as its not dirty. Yes, image and first impressions are everything but if they've got what you need, whats the problem?

Well that is not how most people work, as marketing and subliminal imagery is a huge deal.

In the same way I've walked out of shops even though I know they've got what I wanted because they've hidden it in some completely daft corner of the store and I've had enough of walking around and the staff saying "Oh well it used to be over there" or "I'd imagine it's in with such and such" it's not just about how pleasing to the eye it is and iirc a lot of the complaints about the new shop layout were exactly that it wasn't so much it looked weird but people were having to work to find what they wanted unlike the old site.

I've been there so I went and asked assistants. I didn't care where it was. Sure I've been in and out some stores that same day then came back to the same one even if they had to get ladders out. Same goes for shops that change their isles regularly. You learn to adapt.

If I want it, I'll get it even if I have to wait.

When you click on "New Post, tab" If you then click on the thread you want to read, it jumps you to the last post, not the first. The same as clicking on "Last message"

Also "Watched Threads,", Tab just jumps you to a page where you need to click yet another tab, "So all watched threads" to view them.

Apologies if it's already been flagged. :)

Ok, the only issue I have with the website is I cannot see what has been replied too when on the main page.

previously I used to get a icon change next to the main subject so I knew a post has been updated but now they look the same no matter what

Whatever is in bold font, has been replied to. Whatever isn't - is idle.

i do agree that OCUK rev LEDs icon should be put to better use though

Ok, new biggest annoyance... the length between the end of a post title and the name of the user who last posted.... on my 27" screen, it averages at about 450mm so means movement of my head... I am sure it wasn't like this before, I feel like this could even be classed as exercise.
