When are the arrows to collapse other forum sub-sections going to be implemented?

Oh, and some indicator to show which posts I've posted in would be nice. You know, like the little dot on the thread icon we used to have.

I think everyone needs to give them some time. The new forum only went active last night, it hasn't even been active for a day yet. As has been said by a few posters already, OCUK don't NEED to provide a forum and don't NEED to allow the Mods and Don's access to new software. Yes, it's different, yes it'll take a bit of getting used to, but comments like 'it's awful', 'it's making me dizzy' and 'what a state' don't help at all. Give them some time. Don't forget may of the Don's and Mods have jobs and are volunteers.

If you have some suggestions, by all means make them, but positive suggestions help. Bitching, moaning and whinging don't.

That's nice. But erm.. Why implement something that's not fully debugged/error checked. This is the community end of a multi million pound tech company, not a counter strike forum..

In the members online list, it says there are 30 robots. Are we gonna see more advertising or something now ?

Edit. Not that I'm complaining. I'm just wondering :p I've never seen it before

To be fair I imagine they make more from this forum than it costs them. Especially considering it's community run mod/admin wise(afaik).

I do agree some comments aren't helpful but doesn't make them any less right.

It'll get fixed fast enough :). (well maybe not)

True, but I'd have thought that the UK's premier shop for high-end PC hardware would've sorted all these bugs out in the week the roll-out was delayed for. It hardly shows the business in a good light does it?

I quite like the look of the forum, tbh, lots of teething problems but it'll get there I'm sure.

The little Facebook link in the top-right of each post, what does that do?

(I know it takes me to FB, but as I don't have FB I'm not sure what it does beyond the FB log-in page).

In a positive way...with cherries on top the update looks awful....

Is this better ?

It allows you to share a copy of the post. Which is very useful..
