Thanks, made me look twice at the forums to realise there's been some change that I hadn't noticed already. Much better post separation. Drop shadows and the main index/what's new bits still need work, although I'm sure it'll come.
 
Overall I think the change is a good thing and we will all get used to it. I do think allowing you to show Avatars without needed to show Signatures would help, as for me not being able to do that makes it a little more difficult to separate posts as it naturally squashes things a little, but other than that I think it's progress.
 
Couldn't see this bug on the list on page 1:

If you edit a post, then save, you get a duplicate post header (with post ID.) Each time you edit and save, a new header gets added. Refreshing the page removes it.

This thread has grown pages faster than I care to keep up with (even with 50 posts per page) :o Keep up the good work everyone working on things, the light is at the end of the tunnel (I was even tempted to switch off the extra themes earlier, but switched back on after 20 minutes, maybe in a day or two).

A couple of things I've noticed (couple of points in list as sorted, but not):
  • Point 18 - Swear filter needs looking at by a mod/don (someone with a brain!) to match the old one. Things like vari-ation (just because it mentions a competitor) getting picked up are retarded.
  • Point 23 - Triple digit page number display still not fixed below thread title & above comment box.
  • Didn't spot this listed but know others have mentioned it: People tagging @username doesn't show in Alerts.
  • Smilie typing/tagging/conversion is case sensitive, shouldn't be! :Rolleyes: :rolleyes: :ROLLEYES:
  • When a Thread is closed (MM) it's not listed as such, you get a '(You have insufficient privileges to reply here.)' message instead.
  • Don't want an alert every time someone posts in a busy thread. Left the alerts on for people quoting my posts seems to be a better way of keeping track. Would be nice to have alerts options post by post (like 'watching')? Could then turn it on for some posts (less busy ones!), and the option of switching them off for busy ones...?
Still loads of padding either side of a list, not sure that's needed? (keep the last, but not the first?)

So have any of the changes on that huge list been implemented? So far I do not see any difference, but I am getting used to the new look.

For me the main thing by far is using some padding. Would not mind if they got rid of the box on the left and the avatar too. Personally I do not see the problem of letting people have a custom avatar, if people wanted to abuse it, they would be doing it via sigs anyway. Doubt it would increase policing work much for mods.

We're aware of a lot of these already, the thread close has a padlock but it's over the right now :)

List is updated on the first post, changes are happening though.

Custom avatars were never a thing and never will be.

Thanks for the reply. As long as I can turn these avatars off with and keep sigs on, it's all good :)
