That would be great if you could Plec to compare. That's why I'm hesitant to go 1440p as if it is dipping to in the 30's at 1080p it scares me it would go under at 1440p.
The GPU takes the resolution load - so my CPU will be the bottleneck. That would be great if you could Plec to compare. That's why I'm hesitant to go 1440p as if it is dipping to in the 30's at 1080p it scares me it would go under at 1440p.
Yes - for example had you not been considering a 1440p in the future I would have steered you (if possible) towards the RX 580 or GTX 1060 as this complements the 1080 perfectly well. But the 1070 still gives you extra headroom for future releases.Ahhh so in 1440p more of the load switches to the GPU?
Noted - may be able to test later tonight.I have everything absolutely maxed.
Nope, which is great.Hardly touching my CPU is it...
Makes sense - that's the reason my gameplay appeared smooth. Although my FPS was relatively low it was pretty constant which may explain why it was smoother than i expected it to be - even though no V-SYNC.Noticed on Wildlands that without V-SYNC I get lag spikes/FPS Drops but with VSYNC on they seem to be very very rare (even though I lose a few FPS).
