NEW! Get 20% Cash Back on MSI Z68 Motherboards!

Great deal going on, is it straight forward to do?

Yep, very straight forward. Download the claim form pdf and print it. When your mobo turns up, just complete the form (you need the serial number on the box) and send it and your receipt to the address on the form.

honestly, moaning when you get a discount is a bit silly, you are not paying on top, instead company actually gives you money BACK. If i s a rep for msi, id ignore or said other simpler things to people that are not happy. If you want to pay more for the product i am sure there are deals on ebay that can be had for 2ce as much. feel free to go for that. sorry ocuk i am not saying ebay is better a better place

As promised, here is your new fixed BIOS :)

this is for GD55-G3 only and fixes the Lucid Virtu issue

Thanks ScottiB, it appears to have worked(haven't had time to test out virtu yet but it's not running in trial mode any more).:)

It has also fixed the mouse issue with my Xai(2 Hid's)!:D

You need to give your friendly local BIOS engineer a slap to the back of the head for giving me the 'Hydralogix Drivers' to try, it's never going to work as it's 'Lucid Virtu' the board needs!

I never noticed until last night, facepalm to myself!

You can give him a pat on the back for the other two fixes though.

Lots of pedantic posts on the offer though guys, give it a rest!

ScottiB i was wondering if you had any idea how long does it take for a cheque to get through? also, how do i know if my application has been received? cheers

Couple of questions...

Is it really worth getting the GD65 over the GD55 if all if offers is a dual BIOS and the 2 x Marvall SATA III ports? (Are they good for anything? Is it just that they don't work at full SATA II speeds or at they just useless?)

Also, does the motherboard need to be bought by the 21st Nov or does they invoice need to have reached MSI by the 21st?

board needs to be bought by 21st, claim form should be sent of by 9th december.

pasted from my other post:
gd55 vs gd65.
extras on 65
mosfets sinks linked with heatpipe
power can be measured
more sata ports
dual bios

there might be more stuff, but yea, buy 65 if you getting cashback deal

As someone else asked, can we send a photocopy of the invoice or does it have to be the actual invoice?
Will we get the invoice back?

How bad are the Marvall SATA III ports? Are they worth having? Ideally I'd need/like more than the 6 ports on the GD55, but if the Marvall ports are as bad as people seem to say, then I might have to look at the ASRock a bit more.

a copy is fine.

I wouldnt tar all marvel controllers with the issue that a certain competitor had with their X58 boards. I had to end of issue with the marvel controller on my old X58A-UD5 board but none with the one on the MSI P67A-GD65

a copy is fine, so no

Terms state that: " Download and complete the application form, making sure to attach your ORIGINAL invoice and mail if off to us. " I sent it off on 10th i recon, before finding out copy of invoice is fine. I would like to get my original invoice back. How do i go about doing this? isnt it possible to mail it off back with a cheque?
