New GMMK Pro - mechanical keyboard

Been using my GMMK Pro for a little bit of time now. Zealios 67G V2 and a MT3 Serika set on top, having some issues with the stock GOAT stabs and my backspace, enter and spacebar keys all sticking. Currently waiting on the polycarb ISO plate and will be adding some durock v2s to see if that fixes my issues. Has anyone else had issues with MT3/SA keycaps just not sitting well on the stock stabs?

From the various Youtube videos I've watched about the GOAT stabs, it's usually too much lube that's causing them to stick. Could be worth removing the padding underneath the stabs as well. I believe that's a recommendation from Glorious themselves if having issues.

My white ISO board is arriving directly from Glorious today, cancelled my OC order as I guessed it wouldn't arrive on time like the black version.

I still have a polycarb plate on order though which I haven't heard anything about. Assume it'll be another 2-3 weeks tbh.
My shipping details still haven't changed since the 2nd of August... I'm really hoping it's not lost.

I received my black ANSI GMMK Pro yesterday, the stabs really are the disappointment of the board, well more the lubing job on the stabs. Whatever lube they are using is really bad, they may as well have used glue as it’s that sticky, and the stabs were just covered in it which caused the keys to stick on my board.

I’ve now cleaned the goat stabs and the pads underneath, applied a bit of G-Lube this resulted in a perfectly usable set of stabs to be honest. They’re probably nowhere near the level of Durock V2s, but I’ve not used those so I wouldn’t be able to compare.

It seems to me that Glorious would be better off sending out unlubed stabs than continuing to make usable ones, unusable. I’ll likely pick up a set of Durock V2s, but I’m still concerned about making them fit with the aluminium plate.

I've got some Durocks ready to install, but I was waiting for the polycarb plate. the AVX Works FR4 ISO Plate should be due in a couple of weeks, so I might end up jsut waiting for that.

My hero, I just spent my lunch time removing the lube from the GOAT stabs and I'll just live with the rattle if it means not having a spacebar/enter/backspace that sticks. Thank you so much for the link!

It's their own G Lube they pre lube with I believe.

I'll be buying Durock V2's once I buy a polycarb plate.

I hope that's not the case, the lube was much more like vaseline in consistency when I was removing it. Might have to think about cancelling my order for G Lube if that's the case.

I'm 99.9% sure it's G lube but tbf any lube will be sticky if you douse your parts in it.

Makes sense, I'll keep my order open and attempt it for science and report back. Unfortunately it's ordered with the PC ISO plate so might be waiting another week yet!

I've seen Badseed tech review it a while back and he said it was decent at best. Didn't say it was bad or anything though.

Ah lovely to have no updates yet again from OC, this time on the keycaps. GG, even just an email to say anything would be appreciated but alas, nothing...

Still no change in tracking status for my keyboard but meant to give 2 weeks for that particular status to change.

On the plus side, the Secret Labs Titan Evo I pre ordered is due to be delivered today.

Got my board yesterday and as expected the stabs are overlubed and keys are mushy.

Ordered some Durock V2s to install once my polycarbonate plate comes.

When/what did your tracking history change and how long before it arrived? Yours was shipped almost identical time to mine is all so wondering if I should be worrying or not?

After package in bag/container I mean. Mine is still stuck on that and has been since the 2nd of August.

I don't think mine ever changed after clearing customs on DHLs site, I searched my tracking number on parcelsapp to find the courier number (Yodel in my case) then tracked that.

When importing parcels I usually try a range of different tracking sites as some update more frequently than others: parcelsapp, parcelmonitor, postal ninja and 17track to name a few.

Mine hasn't even cleared customs from what I can see....
