New GMMK Pro - mechanical keyboard

I'd be worried, my first board never cleared that status and 70 days later its still in the Sack/container.

D: I keep trying to ask Glorious and DHL and they just say to allow 40 business days for it to turn up!

There is a second tracking number but that only has one update from 31st July saying will update when in the destination... tbf it does say on multiple websites that it usually takes 2 weeks to arrive after that so if it's not changed in a week I'll start kicking off. Not that it matters too much, my origional order from OCUK would have been delayed to September anyways.

Its exactly what they told me, wait 40 business days.

My current order took 10 business days from sack/container until it then showed up in germany, mind you that was 10 days ago and its now apparently in France but no-one knows where. I don't undetstand how DHL can be this bad, all they do is deliver packages and they are terrible at it.

I wouldn't mind too much about waiting longer as long as I was updated on where the bloody thing is! I just want confirmation it's not been lost/stolen.

It's their own G Lube they pre lube with I believe.

I thought it was meant to be, but it seems completely different to the tub of G-Lube I have. The stuff I cleaned out seemed closer to a thinner, sticky liquid. The website and box also don’t mention what lube they use, just saying pre-lubed now, would have thought if they were using their own stuff then they’d make a bigger deal out of it.

Pretty sure Panda's used to say they were lubed with them.

I have 100 62g Zealios v2 finally winging their way to me, so this weekend I have a lot of lubing switches to do before I can finally assemble this thing.

Polycarb ISO plate, now due on 3rd Sept... think I'll need to swap my stabs before then. Be interesting to see if I can get an ISO FR4 plate before any quicker

I haven't seen the ISO FR4 plate advertised anywhere yet only the ANSI one.

Not sure I can hold out with the stabs until September and might as well do it all in one!

Feeling you on that one, I'm stripping it down and taking a file to the punched holes to make them 1mm wider to get the durocks in this weekend.

I filed my alu plate to fit the durock stabs, had to take quite a bit off.

I got my D65 gaskets today so fitted them. I'm just waiting on the polycarb plate but honestly it feels and sounds amazing as it is.

So my keyboard finally turned up in the UK and is on the way to the Parcelforce sorting office so should have it by Monday hopefully.

AVX ISO plate is up for pre order with shipping w/c 13th Sept.

Just ordered the AVX White ISO - I assume it'll still come after the poly plate, but I've heard good things.

I cancelled my poly plate and ordered the AVX ISO plate, looks really good.

Can't decide whether to cancel my poly plate and get the FR4!

I feel like my U4Ts will probably sound better with the poly plate and it might have a bit more flex over the FR4?

I think the PC plate sounds better than the AVX on my Alpacas but the PC is too thick so your switches don’t push down all the way. and has issues fitting over my Durocks stabs so I’ll stick to the AVX for now.

So my board arrived today and all was fine for about half an hour and now the RGB does not work. Any ideas how to fix this? I can't really bare to send it back to the States to then wait for another one to be sent

No idea how to fix broken RGB but have read a couple of people whos RGB stopped working when i was browsing Reddit. Does your FN key work for other funtions?

Could try taking the switch out and checking its seated correctly or that it doesnt have a bent pin?

I opened it and checked the cable was seated correctly on both ends and also checked the pins. All seems fine. I don't care THAT much about RGB but it's still annoying. I might just wait until I can afford to buy another one before sending it back to Glorious as I can't really do without a keyboard.

So I contacted Glorious directly and they advised that if I bought a new GMMK Pro thbey would refund the old one without me sending the defective one back. So i now have 2 GMMK Pro's one of which has no RGB. Dunno What to do with it. Kudos on Glorious though!
