Snip.
This is what im getting at. I see the GTR as a everyday car myself for someone who has the money and then they have a proper fun weekend toy which is a proper drivers car.. i dunno what. maybe a silly power Caterham or something

Snip.
Which must lend it well to being a daily too. A daily car that has that kind of performance and considering the price should ensure it's a commercial success. I guess we'll see.fun... in most of the reviews ive seen it has come across as a bit remote and de-sensitised, in the way you can extract so much pace so easily
Then i drove a little baby caterham super light and came away with a grin i
Agree. Ive driven a Jaguar XKR with its 4.2 litre Supercharged V8 and 420bhp.. It was quite fast.. But left me feeling numb... Then i drove a little baby caterham super light and came away with a grin i couldnt remove! speed isnt everything when you are wanting a car you enjoy. There are sooo many other things that come into it
Id just like to point out i love the GTR.. lol. But i think a lot of people are getting what its about alittle wrong. All the Skyline GTR's have pretty much been the same idea.
Caterhams with revs = fun. Caterhams with torque = fear. I know what I'd have.my grand plan, car wise, is to build a caterfield with honda engine.
Aren't GT cars like the XKR meant to leave you numb aka relaxed.
Hi there
I have an R34 GTR VspecII on my driveway next to the CSL.
Its actually got good road feel and very direct steering, lets just say I am having a long test drive of a friends of an R34 to see if I like or not and at the moment undecided as just driven it home tonight and weather conditions were terrible so were careful but it cruises well enough and feels tight with good feel. Bags of torque too as its not standard.![]()
Try telling Mr Palmer that.

I go back in July.. Cant wait to get my hands on that new
Formula Jaguar
Id sell body parts to actually have the optiunity to build and own my own Caterham.
@ tommy. what has "class" got to do with cars? esp performance cars.
you really sound clueless
Ask someone who is in the position to buy a super car. I doubt Mark would pay £60,000 on something that looks like crap.
