** NEW LG MONITORS - INCLUDING 2 EXCLUSIVE TO OCUK!!! **

I hope they do send off all the orders off with NextDay if people paid for it. Would be ass if we paid that money for them to just send stuff off with standard delivery like some buyers noted earlier in the thread.

Doesn't contrast ratio change depending on brightness setting used?
You have just answered to my question :)

tftcentral detected a low contrast ratio (848) with a luminance of 120 cd/m2, the maximum luminance is 336.19 cd/m2
xxrsm (https://www.xxrsm.com/h-nd-209.html) a normal contrast ratio (938) with a luminance of 392.8 cd/m2, the maximum luminance is 392.8 cd/m2
rtings a bad contrast ratio (735) with a luminance of 100 cd/m2, the maximum luminance is 347 cd/m2

But 2 things are weird...
1/ rtings has detected the lowest contrast ratio, compare it to tftcentral is 788 at 55.17cd/m2
it's a big step .. Do the contrat ratio depend of the bleeding panel issue ?

2/ xxrsm has detected a maximum luminance of 392.8 cd/m2, LG claims is achievable 350cd/m2

Seems this is why its an exclusive to me, as they couldn't get stock levels high enough to ship to other retailers as well.

A few places in Europe has them as well as the US, Just seems that there is a massive shortage here for whatever reason, I cancelled my order no idea what i'll go for now, Maybe an Ultrawide.

Think it all depends on calibration too actually.

I've noticed with the AD27QD - I've calibrated a few time and the contrast can vary from 1020 to 1140

As far as I understand it there are other settings that can be changed that will affect the contrast ratio, plus there is some panel variance.

Latest news I had was that they were due to arrive at LG EU hub on 11/11/2019, but the booking slot they had there was 18/11/2019.

This seemed offensive given the wait the UK customers have had, so I've requested they make this stock a priority and improve the booking in slot, as well as making the forwarding of this stock to the UK distributor a priority.

I've also made the distributor aware of the above time-frames and asked them to give these a booking slot of max priority and ship them to OCUK as quickly as possible.

I'm doing what I can to get these monitors in the hands of those who've pre-ordered ASAP.

If they land on a Friday we'll upgrade those who want, and who contact sales (webnote with your order number, or call us), to a Saturday delivery at no extra cost.

I'll post here as soon as I have any more information.
