Thanks for that.
There seem to be two grills on the front fan, i'm wondering if the outer one also can be removed?

Is there a fan in the middle of the bottom section? I've forgotten.

Edit: How much clearance is there between the bottom of the fan and the back of the vga duct? In this picture it looks like it would hardly work at all.

Can't really tell whats fixing the grill to the case. Don't worry though, its not of major importance, just thinking i might want to remove it.

Hi, I've just noticed that I have manged somehow to make a mark on the front door. I's not like a scratch more like something has left a mark, anyone know how to clean these aluminium cases up?

Its now cif because apparently they wanted to launch it in another country and jif was a rude word there.

Nah, it was always Cif everywhere else, it was only Jif here and it cost a fortune to make two products so they standardised on Cif.

what was the rude word :D

As I understand it the product was originally American or British - and it came from 'you'll have that clean in a jiffy'.

Jif isn't a rude word anywhere. It's made by Unilever (I was working for them at the time) and French/Spanish/Portugese speaking people pronounce it as 'hif' which doesn't sound right apparently. So in most other European markets it was called Cif.

[Edit]It's all coming back to me now - Jif can be pronounced as "Jif", "Gif", "Yif" and "Hif" depending on what part of Europe you are from. Cif is only ever pronounced "Sif" so as well as having only one packaging (the financial reason to change) they now have only one name (a good marketing reason to change).[/Edit]

But in the same way that Marathon was always 'Snickers' everywhere else and they changed that, if you have the same name and label everywhere you can produce one product for the whole of Europe at any of your European factories. So Jif became Cif.

Another one is the Dime bar. This is actually a Swedish product called D'aim (from diamonds) but they renamed it Dime originally when it came to the UK. Now they only want one packaging type for all Europe so they have semi-relaunched it as D'aim.

Wow, lol what a debate, I meant lemon juice 'jif'. When we were kids, ohhh soooo many year ago now, on shrove tuesday, you know pancake day, me mum used to buy lemon juice in a squeezy lemon shaped container. I'm sure it was called 'Jif' and not related to the cream cleanser.
Anyway, I forgot to get some rofl!!!!
