Thanks for that, sounds like I should run aida64 to test VRM noise.
Yeah that appears to cause it the most, but do beware of doing to ‘must stress for faults’ thing as, psychologically, you will just start hunting out for issues that wouldn’t have bothered you if you hadn’t put your mind to it.... if that makes sense! Thanks for that, sounds like I should run aida64 to test VRM noise.

Or put another way, you’re not running AIDA64 all of the time, so don’t worry too much about noise that’s only there when you run AIDA64
How you getting on mate ?Ya I was trying to think of a program to run just to test. Computer is a bit in shambles atm... I could install cyberpunk lol but don't really want to install a big game if by chance I'll need to get a different motherboard.
Do be careful with this... just did this acting carefully and seemingly snapped a screw! Oh dear....

@djxput
The screws were definitely loose though.
That is a pretty good assessment....Your not having much luck are you

As I said on another forum, it’s particularly annoying as the screw was nowhere near ‘tight’.
It’s probably tighter than it was originally so I guess I’ll just soldier on....

My bequiet high speed fans came today aswell quieter on pc start up still hear them but not as bad as the phantek fans left them on same fan curve definitely pushing more air through rad you can feel it out the top of caseHavnt got much done today so far, maybe tonite and tomorrow I'm at work all day. I got the phanteks aio today, but I need some quiet time to evaluate and do that ie check pump sound of both and check VRM noise...
Got updates installed and windows, amd chipset, nividia drivers, mb drivers, ram drive , icue,... Hmmm
I want to get my build finalised, need it up and running.
Oh with the phanteks do they have a zero rpm mode for fans if you want ie under a certain temp? I like that especially if just browsing the net.
Hope you have more luck... honesty feel completely cheated! There is no way anyone could have predicted that screw snapping! The others are all nice and tight though.Geez you snapped a screw on the mb? That's no good, thanks for warning me because I'm going to be doing that soon.
Can you get the screw out and put a new one inHope you have more luck... honesty feel completely cheated! There is no way anyone could have predicted that screw snapping! The others are all nice and tight though.
Bah!
I think it’s snapped in - no obvious way to get it out but whatever’s in there should be tight. I think trying to sort it might cause even more damage. Can you get the screw out and put a new one in

As for the fan question of 0rpm certain temp I just set it in bios so I couldn't hear them at all still on but lovely and quiet
What fans did you get?
The 3rd aio I was considering. Was this one:
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/be-q...medium=referral&utm_campaign=affiliategateway
This aio has some nice reviews (cheap, nice fans, the thing that I wasn't sure the pump was hanging in the hoses and I dont think you could set it much lower speed wise, so I was worried about the noise).
The bequiet fans seem quite good thou.
If I'd keep the phanteks aio I'd be doing the same thing with the fans eventually... Getting different ones (rgb ones).
Hi yes i origanally wanted the 1000w version of this supply but nothing been comming in so when this came on mm i thought yeh ill grab that so ive got plenty of scope now for upgrades without having to worry about power issues oh yeh got wife to pay but dont be fooled it was my cash mate use that account for buying or selling stuff only transfer money into it when neededNice!
