dayz epoch matey, its not as active as i would like if im honest, i try and get on most nights, we have a few german and spanish guys who have made it their home now and are on every day, and we have our own teamspeak 3 as well

Well, not posted in this thread for a while, the server is still going strong and we have made many changes. If you want a fun, full on PVP Dayz Epoch experience with lots of added toys then come and have a play. :D

 
Time for this to be revived!

With Standalone around the corner I held off on playing Epoch as I didn't want it to spoil my experience! However now I can see Standalone will be a very very very long time off (if at all) being able to offer more than the mod, I've decided to taken the leap!

So far Epoch I've been absolutely mind blowning... I've not even had time to looking for PvP, it always bloody finds me!

Building a base with the guys has been so much fun, and whats more, playing on Taviana has been refreshing!

So question is, is this mod the "mod of all dayz mod"?... I.e Anything else on the horizon? Or will Epoch be the main mod? Because god dam its so so so good!

Any news on whether or not there will be a Arma 3 port? If its done well on Arma 3 then I cant see how Dayz SA will be able to compete with it... I.e the inventory system having different attachments, the far superior Graphics etc etc
 
It would be amazing if they did Epoch on the A3 engine. That for me would be the icing on the cake, but BI changed the terms etc and had Zoombies shutdown which had the Cherno and Tav map. So I don't think it can happen now as they know it would hurt SA to much.

That would be pretty awesome, Arma 3 is the way to go for the future I think and Epoch is going to be pretty amazing on it. Did he say anything about maps? Trouble with Altis it is just to damn big to find players, I have been playing breaking point on it a lot past couple of weeks.

Been trying to get on a Origins server with my mate and I keep getting the same problem when trying to log in.

I get to the title screen fine and it says im connected.

Then I click ok in bottom right hand corner and it says receiving missing file which is fine then it goes back to the following screen.

I have deleted all local content for arma 2 and OA and dayz etc and done a full re install but still the same error.

Has anyone got any ideas please?

Vbawol suggests any map thats been ported to A3 will be supported.
