You can tell they hopped load of servers by how many saline bags and gear he has when he goes to give the bag of rice to the newbs at the end.Think it's wrong to do what they are doing BUT there is no right way to play dayz or any game really....so whatever.

Running around in a group (lynchmob) is just asking to be taken apart by a sniper. Unless they work in SAS style, and have one guy trail behind/wait out of sight too!

I'm starting out, trying to join one of the MGT servers.

If you want to meet up on a server, I may be able to give you some items/tips (I've only recently learnt to play, mostly). But will have to be later as my character is currently a bit depleted in the blood front!

Check out the one I've been using and see what you think. You get a few bits of starting loot, hatchet, bandage, compass, torch etc. You can also self bloodbag in a hospital which is quite handy when first starting out when your playing as a loan survivor.

Anyone know how hard the SA has hit player numbers in the various mods?

While I only really play on MGT servers, which used to be always full, even in the small hours, I've noticed of late they're no longer at capacity when I play.

Well that's nice... my character has been reset I think. And the server list is refusing to refresh too. Hoping it's just a server 'bug'...
