** NEW SAMSUNG 750D & 950D True 120Hz LED Monitors - PRE-ORDER! **

hello all,

this monitor is absolutely Fantastic... although a few issues with the tri def software and some games when turned off and letting the monitor do all the work its fantastic,

slight occasional ghosting but nothing major , great depth , comfy glasses im in love with mine...

Might be a silly question but I don't suppose anyone who has a 950 could give me the dimensions of the base unit ? I have had a lil look around on the internet but cannot seem to find the info out. It looks like it might be quite small its not really length I'm worried about but the depth from front to back that im interested in.

Thanks buddy :) I was expecting the depth to be much bigger :p Looks like I shall be buying one soon then should fit on my desk like a dream.

According to Samsung's PR people this is due to launch 'officially' in the UK on the 1st September but some places may send at stock just before that date (i.e. end of August). I hope to review this at some point next month and see how it compares to the 950 series.

So, anyone heard of deliver dates for the s23a750's now?

Theres been a few websites announcing the release of the s27a750 but not a single mention of the 23" one :(

Im starting to get very tempted to sell my crossfire 6970's and go for a gtx580 and 3dvision instead.

heard nothing on the 750s mate,

based on what ive experienced through my 950.. id say stay with crossfire... the 3d is amazing as the monitor does most of the work and if you need to just throw a tri def profile into the mix and its near perfect,

nivida's way just seems too Umm er and if at the moment with it not supported ( so ive read ) or restricted bandwidth so not 1920x 1080.

i have the 6950 2g edition and it runs brilliantly so it can only get better with a higher end GFX such as yours

I already have a samsung 3dtv and lets just say im less than impressed with the depth correctness of samsungs 2d to 3d conversions.
And as for Tridef and amd cards they do not support crossfire. So when i game in 3d i will be limited to a single card :(
Also its been forever since tridef was last updated (last update in march, 6! months ago).

And if i do go for the nvidia side ill be looking at the SA2311W or VG278H.

Oh so they finally released a update for tridef, then that makes it 6 months for it to go from 4.5 to 4.6 and 3 months to go from 4.4 to 4.5.

December 24th 4.4
March 31st 4.5
September 1th 4.6

Thats not exactly lightning speed on the updates there.
