I returned mine and found myself with the same dilemma. I ended up with an LG 38GN950B and its fantastic. No issues at all - just works right out of the box. Definitely give it a look as its a top panel.

I'm right on the edge of ordering the LG 38GL950, still have my G9 pre order in tact but still no news on dispatch. Does look like a fantastic screen with IPS Nano & 1ms.

Yup, I went from an LG 34 'F' which was great too. Best way to describe it it's more 'more' than a 34 on every level, even down to being super-responsive. Both would be great options!
The LG will work with 90% of games and the Samsung about 50% (at a guess), that UUW aspect does have a small penalty now and again but when it works it's pretty wow.

Ordered it last Wednesday, arrived on the Thursday so that's accurate.
Alright, 6 entries so far. Interestingly all of the newly delivered affected units are manufactured in June 2020. Samsung publicly acknowledged a manufacturing problem July 15th. Will be interesting to see whether someone has a unit manufactured in July 2020 which still has the light leak problem.

keep up the good work mate. Just see Samsung UK had stock then sold out moments later. Could these be later manufactured units I wonder?.
Had that email as well but oddly I signed up to be notified again, got an email 2 minutes later saying it's in stock, but nope, it isn't. Site might be bugged?
When I clicked through from the email, it was out of stock, about 15 minutes later it showed in stock but gone again.
Now showing in stock again...bit of a dance.

I haven't even checked my 27" - first one I had though was FA01
Its a bug/mistake i think. I was pretty quick (5 mins) when i saw the first email and it wouldn't let me complete checkout.

I noticed the G7 27" I returned due to scratch is now available to buy on the 3rd party website as ex-display - £50 off
I received the stock alert. I have seen it on for about 2 hours the last 3 days on ******. I was tempted but thought returns was terrible and they could well be selling old models. I am tempted with the lg38 new version res is good for producitivity. I also have a titan xp which doesnt support dsc so i need a new card. See when 30 series come out and maybe pick up a second hand 2080ti if they are crazy money
Probably just as well...Missus would kill me if I bought it before moving house anyway...
