New Site Feedback

Will pass this one on, which link are you clicking to get to this page?

It was this one, however, it seems to all be working now. If you are going to check the logs on the web server, I was trying to get onto that page at about 10:19AM

I don't mind the new design but it does feel a little busy. I think the advertising down the left and right hand sides of the site make it feel all feel a bit crammed in.

Also I'm getting an error when trying to view the HDD section

Yup, you put the nail on the head there! Site is as narrow as a Mourinho team now ;) :D

"All Details" on the right hand column on the homepage really needs to be in line vertically with the order and in stock information. Minor but unbelievably anal as a web design element. [Chrome 46, Windows 7]

Agree with comments that it is really busy and really bright now.

Just removed it, don't see the need in it saying all details when if you click anywhere it takes you to the product (excluding add to basket and stock)

I have a genuine suggestion.... Your B Grade stuff could be more descriptive about what it comes with. The rainforest clearance clearly states issues with each item you may purchase such as whether it may be repackaged, or scratched or whatever.

The guys who are in charge of stock of B-Grade could quite easily add details to the products which you could update. Your new website is afterall, capable of displaying much more information?

Agreed, having some more information will give people the opportunity of making a more informed decision on whether to buy or not.

I bought some things last night and found the following errors:

1. When selecting "components" from the top and then "cables" from the left I get a 404.

2. When searching for "sata cables" and attempting to change the number of items shown in the view gives a "what are sata cables" search error.

I also had quite a few 503 backend errors earlier in the evening, making the site unusable, but this seemed to clear up a few hours later when I tried again.

Unfortunately its not possible with the system we employ, when an item goes in to b-grade the b-grade code relates to the original stockid not the actually item. i.e. BG-XXX-XX can have a stock count of 10, pointing to multiple products, we would probably run out of useable stockids very quickly if it did not do this as every single bgrade item would need a unique code.

For this reason we unfortuantely cannot tell you the full product details as they are not unique.

That sounds like a terrible system. Almost every other website on the internet which sells clearance or used items has a stock system which is capable of having specific details added.

Fair enough,

Maybe it's worth changing/updating your system though as even including some basic information could be the difference in swaying a potential customer to buy the item, even if that information were just to include what exactly the contents is rather than buying "in the dark" and wondering what exactly is going to be included with your purchase.
