Thats half the problem though, we said we would let him leave for a certain fee (£6.7m if the media are to be believed)

One thing I just thought of - maybe its impossble to word but how about

In the contract to sell Heinze to the scousers we put in something completely legal from the EPL's point of view but which would never be accepted by Liverpool (like £10m if Liverpool win CL or higher than 3rd in EPL)

maybe a little extreme but certainly not illegal (and actually common practice)

Therefore its more than likely Liverpool refuse to complete the deal.....

No I dont think so. You obviously never watched him closely and seen him in the recent u21 tourniment in holland. He's a very good player indeed.

The deal for Ivica Dragutinovic looks 50/50 at the minute, but I suspect that Seville are using us to bump up his price.

Thats because McLaren knows sod all about football. Still waiting for him to give Dawson a run out. He has been our best defender for a long time now, yet King still gets the nod over him for England whenever he gets himself fit.
