I look forward to seeing it. I'll give it a good go before writing it off - heck we all may even enjoy it!

And that can only be good surely. I loved old TG, and will watch on Amazon, but I'll also watch new show unless it turns out to be crap, simply because I love car shows and cars.Probably not. Still, we get 2 shows, TG BBC and TG Amazon.
It is quite funny but I don't think it's unheard of - I know I often stop talking whilst driving and can't keep a constant stream of dialogue
I think people are not giving it a chance. You put a group of people together and they can work. Put Hammond on his own on a TV program before Top Gear and no one would have looked twice, same with May. Put them together with Clarkson and for many it worked. Same can happen again if what people stop expecting is the same personalities and antics. It will be different and just because the people as individuals are not the same, doesn't mean it wont work. All you can say is it will be different at this stage, the rest is pure conjecture.
Meh May and Hamster are an ok addition, but for me it's all about Clarkson, he is a big child, like me, no political correctness, slanting the eco and anti car lobby, I can relate to him and his jokes.

Chris Evans 'Can't drive and talk into the camera at the same time' - according to The DM via The Sun - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...w-Gear-struggling-talk-camera-drive-time.html
Even if it's not true that's pretty funny.
So the latest attack on chris evans is that he's a bit of a wimp for throwing up after being driven round laguna seca by Sabine Shcmitz.

Not sure that jeremy was any better after doing his back in at suzuka in the GTR (although that may have been part of the script to illustrate a point to viewers about how fast it was), but its obvious things aren't going as well as they could be for Chris given all the negative stories coming out.
