I'll just wait. TBH, I'll be watching the new Amazon one and this, and if it's good, great if it's not, I won't. I don;'t listen to anything in the press anyway as it's 95% BS... lets just see what happens. However, I do have a thing on the hosts, not sure if Schmidt is the right gal for the job tbh... she can drive, but was annoying when she appeared... if she carries that on not sure how that will work. However, suppose, you have to have the differences in the hosts...

It looks like this will be a car show again. Thing is though nobody can review cars as good as Clarkson.

His reviews are very predictable. They're always one of the following:

This car is absolutely pathetic. It has plastic panels. Poor quality interior. The power delivery is awful and the brakes are worse than bottle caps. However I love it. I like how bonkers it is. I like how the rear end comes out better than my wifes...blah...blah...blah

or

This car is absolutely amazing. It has carbon fiber panels. Exclusive nappa leather interior. Power delivery is amazing and the brakes can stop a jumbo jet. However I hate it. I hate how sensible it is. I hate how predictable it drives...blah...blah...blah

I don't understand why people have boners over Clarkson. He was a fantastic critic and journalist. And he should have maintained that stature. Instead during the last few years he's descended to utter sillyness. He is amusing. But he's more of an entertainer now, than a critic.

I think Matt LeBlanc will do a decent job, can easily do the 'Hammond' role if they are trying to keep a similar format

Interesting appointment. I'll keep an open mind about it

That's two presenters with entertainment backgrounds ahead of motoring backgrounds. Probably indicates a continuing of TG as a motoring entertainment program rather than moving towards simply a motoring one.

In my opinion he is much better for it. The world has moved on, if we want to read a boring subjective review full of fact then we can do that through hundreds of motoring websites. Frankly I don't care about serious critique of a car, I certainly don't want to watch that on TV and neither do many other people by virtue of clarksons success since he dropped the serious act....
