More importantly, not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but....

Jeremy Clarkson was suspended, then dropped, by the BBC in March following a "fracas" with a producer at a hotel.

His final appearance on Top Gear will be shown on 28 June. The episode will be made up of two films shot before Clarkson was suspended, with Hammond and May presenting links from the studio.

Also, it can only be good for us fans, it means we'll get top gear still (whether that'll be good or not remains to be seen), but we'll still get JC, JM and RH on another show. More motoring shows :)

So much hate already for a show which is still a long way from production. How many people were complaining a year ago that Top Gear was boring and no point watching any more?

However I do hope that he reinvents it as his own show - and not as a carbon copy of the three old boys. I also hope that Guy Martin joins him - as I do find him a good chuckle.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out :)

And please don't commercialise Guy Martin by putting him in Top Gear. I don't think he'd do it anyway he'd rather be under a truck than in a Ferrari.

I live in Grimsby (I know) and see Guy a lot. I love the fact that he has a proper job and just does the TV stuff for a laugh.

Is the stig staying?

The 'Stig' as a character is part of the Top Gear IP so I doubt any other show could have a 'Stig' like that. If you mean then the actual person who plays it, then who knows. They could have anyone doing it though and you would be none the wiser.

just think, the new feature could be 'star in a bottom of the market misery wagon' purchased by brewer, tarted up with crap vinyl wrap by Ed China and the star would be interviewed by Evans.

TV gold. 10/10 would watch.
