Did you see Henry tweet the other night saying at least 2 more buyers are lined up. One with the cash waiting and Newcastle will be sold no matter what.

He then said Saudi's are still favourite.
 
I wouldn't be surprised is there is some sort talks between Saudi's and BeIN to show premiership there. After all they would want to look after their new investment.

Keys and CO have gone very quiet.

Also people are forgetting the WTO report is about the failure of the Saudi government to act to stop piracy not that they started it. Very big difference and that was coming from a BeIn employee.

People are just jumping over a few very strongly worded headlines from paper's.

Unless the WTO didn't do what they were tasked to do.

There's also the fact that they have to link it back to the PIF.

If the PIF have lied and mislead the PL then that is grounds to stop the deal.

But all sources close to it says so good so far.

So this whole WTO was a storm in a tea cup. Nothing that wasn't already known.

Lots of journalists are now deleting tweets.

Not 100% sure what I said and I don't want to trawl through pages of your response's to find out.

I'm pretty sure I said there no clear link between BeoutQ and PIF. PIF is a separate legal entity.

Also I don't think the report states that the Government set up BeoutQ like everyone is raving about even you. You still are. There's a clear difference and that's probably why the PL is trying to work with both parties.

This has been an ever changing story and more about geopolitics than the ownership test.

There was already investigations from the the USA proving the piracy was being broadcast on Arabsat. Which then lead to it getting took off the airway's. That information was already known before the WTO broke in the tabloids.

Many reporter's were claiming the Saudi's government set up BeoutQ and the WTO report would prove this. Which it hasn't.

I don't blame the other countries from the Gulf falling out with Qatar. They were supporting terrorism after all.

Can remember it Getting brought up years ago when PSG started to progress in the Champions league. You don't hear it now as they pretty much embedded them self's in world football at the highest level.

I have always maintain that PIF have nothing to do with BeoutQ and now that's probably been harder to prove now there was no clear evidence of the government involvement.

I'm pretty dam sure now the PL don't want this going to court.

Many US investigation. You can find stories in the NYtimes and the BBC and many more if you sieve through the propaganda. Yes the other countries have their problems also but Qatar are labelled as the worst.

In 2014, then-US Treasury Under-Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David Cohen noted : "Qatar, a long-time US ally, has for many years openly financed Hamas, a group that continues to undermine regional stability. Press reports indicate that the Qatari government is also supporting extremist groups operating in Syria."

He also drew attention to the "permissive" environment in Qatar that allowed fundraisers to solicit donations for extremist groups such as al-Qaeda and so-called Islamic State.
 
I'm just pointing out that it's not all propaganda from the Saudi's.

Qatar was named as the biggest supporter's of terror in 2018/19 by the US.

A lot of it probably due to how close to Qatar is to Iran.

As for the WTO report it's just basically confirmed what I said previously that it was about Saudi's Government failure to do do enough to stop it and not that they started it. Yes and before you start I know that's a bit of an understatement.

I linked Ben twitter posts a couple of weeks ago stating this when people and reporter's were saying the Government started it up and that's not what the report was about.

There's has been a massive clear up on Twitter with blue check marks from well known outlets deleting pervious tweets.

The guy for the BBC was the worse one.

Noted. I do live in N.Ireland and my dad was in the UDR so don't need to tell me twice he was targeted more than once because he lived close to the border but I'm sure there will be multiple pages to tell me I'm wrong. :P

Seems he's a right fraud. There's also stories going around that he bidding on some of the Qatar World cup advertising rights!! I smell a hoax.

I also believe there is a 3rd US bid on the table. Henry Winter reported it weeks ago and said it wasn't Mauriss.

Starting to think this won't be cleared up anytime soon lol.

So Day 2 after that so called Nuclear bomb.

No clear legal reason to stop PIF passing the Owners and directors test. Comming from multiple barristers and sports lawyer's.

A few reporter's suggest otherwise.

Balls in your court PL seems a few clubs are afraid of a well backed Newcastle on and off the pitch!!!
 
I know the Guardian been thrown around here a lot lately but Sean Ingle seems to think an announcement is days away but seems pretty dam cryptic lol.
 
Hopefully this is done soon and I for one cannot wait for ole hairy hands having a breakdown of epic proportions!!
